Lookout Tower Poster
This poster of Washington Island's Lookout Tower is one of the newest in our series of posters celebrating the many fun events, activities and places on the island. Some people climb the 286 steps of Lookout Tower because they are eager to see the beautiful views of Washington Island, Lake Michigan and the smaller islands in the distance that are actually in the State of Michigan. For their effort, they are richly rewarded! Others climb Lookout Tower "because it's there," to borrow the immortal words of George Mallory, a famous mountaineer. Regardless of the reason you climbed Lookout Tower (and presumably lived to tell about it), we think you deserve a poster to commemorate your effort! And while you probably didn't notice all the critters gathered around the tower which are shown in the poster, you'll smile at their whimsical presence in this amusing scene. Printed on 18" x 24" heavy stock paper, this poster fits standard frames. This poster is available in two versions: a Washington Island version and a Door County version. Please specify which version you would like in the Notes section at the end of the ordering process or send your preferences to firstname.lastname@example.org. This design is also available on a mug.
